Furthermore, any system that is ordered with the
Auto-Stop feature requires the use of a "limit switch." The type of limit switch you purchase depends on the type
of lift with which the Gem system will function. See below for a listing of the three types of limit switches

ONE MOTOR REMOTE SYSTEMS. The Gem Remotes flagship. These are basic one motor controls that would be suitable for a simple boat lift or even a lift for a personal water craft like a jetski. Like many Gem Systems, these systems can run from either 115VAC or 230VAC (this must be specified at time of order). There are a variety of one motor systems. Systems come either with the Auto-Stop feature (products GR1A) or without (products GR1, and GRP1).

TWO MOTOR REMOTE SYSTEMS. For more serious boating enthusiasts. Two motors within the same lift can be controled using the same system! Like one motor systems, these systems can run from either 115VAC or 230VAC (this must be specified at time of order). Two remote systems come either with the Auto-Stop feature (products GR2A) or without (products GR2, GR2F1).
"Two for One" (GR2F1 and GR2F1G) systems offer a special functionality. If you have two separate lifts, you can use this single system to control both of them. This allows you to use the remote with each lift indivdually, or both lifts simultaneously. However, you will have to manually switch between these settings.

FOUR MOTOR REMOTE SYSTEMS. If you have four or more lifts at your dock, these systems are for you! Up to four lifts can be controled using the same system! Extremely convenient use of a single remote control to trigger both lifts independently or simultaneously. All four motor remote systems require 240VAC electrical feeds. Four remote systems come either with the Auto-Stop feature (products GR4A) or without (products GR4).

6230. These waterproof transmitters come in very handy. The two buttons allow for three functions: press both to make the lift stop where it is. The 6230 replaces the older non-waterproof 5030 and 5220 model transmitters.

7240. All Gem systems sold after March of 2007 have included these transmitters. Pick one up as a back up, a replacement, or to allow more people to control your system. The three buttons are large and easy to press. These will not work with older Gem systems however. Two 3V batteries included with purchase.
